USCIS announced that they have received about 124,000 H-1B
petitions from April 1 to 5. Using a denial rate of 15%, this means that USCIS
should select about 100,000 H-1B petitions in the lottery so the overall
selection rate is about 80%.
Master’s cap applicants will be selected under the master’s cap
lottery first and those that are not selected will be entered into the regular
cap lottery. So master’s cap applicants will have close to a 85-90% chance of
being selected since they have two opportunities to be selected. Bachelor’s cap
applicants’ chances will be closer to 75%.
Good luck!

Great info! Kinda sucks that people are getting denied but at the same time 100,000 is still good. I need to find a Florida H1B visa attorney to help me get started.
